The Show Door Group Access Levels page allows you to review doors, door groups and access levels.
You can also re-assign door groups to different access levels or time zones as well as add new time zones, edit time zones or delete time zones.
The Door Group Access Levels page is laid out in a table format showing all details about door access levels. There are three access levels as listed below:
24 Hour Access – 24 HR
No Access – N/A
Time Zone Limited Access – TZ-###
The door group names are listed in a column on the far left
The reader/door names are listed in a row along the top
The access levels are in the body of the table
A time zone that has been tagged with First Person In is underlined and displayed in blue.
A time zone that has been tagged with Present 3 has a yellow cell.
The Show Door Group Access Levels page can only be accessed from the Card Holder Information page.
The Time Zones page has a Security Level setting. Setting security levels is not recommended unless you are an advanced user and require a high level of system operator security. To use security levels, you must first assign them for system users in the System User Information form. Security levels are intended only as a means to further regulate system user activity in the Client software. Be sure to review and fully understand what security levels do before you engage this feature.
Steps to Re-Assign Door Group Access Levels
From the Web Client main page, select Card Holder Database > Add New Card(s)
From the Card Holder Information page, select the Show Door Group Access Levels button.
From the Door Group Access Levels page, click on the down arrow to the right of Unit ID and select the applicable access control panel from the list.
Click on the pencil icon in the cell of the door /door group in the list view table.
Do one of the following:
for non-restricted access click in the radio button to the left of 24 Hour Access
for no access, click in the radio button to the left of No Access
for limited access, click on the down arrow to the right of Time Zone Limited Access and select a time zone from the list.
Click on the OK button.
To change another access level repeat steps 3 - 5 or to return to the Web Client main page, select Exit > Exit.
Steps to Add a New Time Zone for a Door Group
From the Web Client main page, select Card Holder Database > Add New Card(s)
From the Card Holder Information page, select the Show Door Group Access Levels button.
From the Door Group Access Levels page, click on the down arrow to the right of Unit ID and select the applicable access control panel from the list.
Click on the pencil icon in the cell of the door/door group you are going to create a new time zone for.
Click on the Time Zones button.
From the Time Zones page, click on the Add New Time Zone button.
To the right of Time Zone Description, enter a name for the time zone.
If you are assigning security levels for system users, click on the down arrow to the right of Security Levels and select a level. Assigning security levels is not recommended unless you are an advanced user and require stringent system administration security.
Under Monday, set the Start Time. Click in the hour box (left) and click on the up or down arrow on the right to adjust the hours.
When the hours or minutes are selected,the times are highlighted by a blue marquis, you can also type the time in the boxes. You can also use the Tab key to move from box to box. Please remember time zones are based on a 24 hour clock.
Click in the minute box (right) and click on the up or down arrow on the right to adjust the minutes.
Set the End Time for the same day, using the same technique above to set the hours and minutes.
Repeat setting the Start Time and End Time for each applicable day or use the copy function near the bottom to automatically paste the hours into the remaining days.
You can create holiday hours but you cannot assign them to a calendar date from the Web Client. You must perform this task from a Client.
Click on the Update button.
Click on the Exit button.
Click on the down arrow below and to the right of Time Zone Limited Access and select the time zone you just created from the list.
Click on the OK button.
To add another time zone, repeat steps 3 to 13, or to return to the Web Client main page, select Exit > Exit.
Steps to Add a Schedule to an Existing Time Zone
From the Web Client main page, select Card Holder Database > Add New Card(s)
From the Card Holder Information page, select the Show Door Group Access Levels button.
From the Door Group Access Levels page, click on the down arrow to the right of Unit ID and select the applicable access control panel from the list.
Click on a pencil icon in a cell of any door/door group.
Click on the Time Zones button.
Click on the down arrow to the right of Time Zone #, and select the time zone that is having a schedule added.
From the Time Zones page, click on the Add New button below Manage Schedule Options.
From the Time Zone / Schedule warning box, select the Yes button to continue.
You cannot name a schedule. The Description field is dimmed and unavailable.
Under Monday, set the Start Time. Click in the hour box (left) and click on the up or down arrow on the right to adjust the hours. When the time is highlighted with the blue marquis, you can also type the hours or minutes. Remember time zones are based on a 24 hour clock.
Click in the minute box (right) and click on the up or down arrow on the right to adjust the minutes.
Set the End Time for the same day, using the same technique above to set the hours and minutes.

Click on the Update button.
To add another schedule, repeat steps 3 to 13, or select Exit.
If you are assigning the time zone with the schedule to a door group, click on the down arrow below and to the right of Time Zone Limited Access and select the time zone with the schedule(s), then click on OK. Otherwise to return to the Web Client main page, select Exit > Exit.
Prior to deleting a time, you should be sure that it is not currently assigned for group access, inputs, outputs, Present3 or any other function within the Keyscan system.
From the Web Client main page, select Card Holder Database > Add New Card(s).
From the Card Holder Information page, select the Show Door Group Access Levels button.
If applicable, from the Door Group Access Levels page,select the access control unit by clicking on the down arrow to the right of Unit ID.
From the Door Group Access Levels page, click on a pencil icon in a cell of a door/door group.
Click on the Time Zones button.
From the Time Zones / Schedules page, click on the down arrow to the right of Time Zone # and select the time zone you are deleting from the list .
Click on the Delete button below Manage Schedule Options.
From the Delete Time Zone / Schedule # warning box, click on the Yes button.
To delete another Time Zone, repeat steps 5 to 7, otherwise click on the Exit button. Wait until the processing is completed at each page.
Select the Exit button on each open page until you return to the Web Client main page.
Mouse over the cell in the table for the door group/door you are reviewing and click on the TZ-### to view the time zone.
