Edit Cards

When you select the Edit Cards option, you can edit individual card holder records or delete individual or multiple cardholder records from the database.

When you select the Edit Cards option, the Search Card Holders page opens first. Use search criteria to locate specific card holder records. Then select the card holder records you are either editing or deleting.

The Search Card Holders page does not have a Find All Cards option. You must specify at least one search criteria to list card records.

Card Formats

From the Web Client, you can edit a card record for either of the following 2 formats:

If the site you are logging on to does not use either of the above card formats, you cannot edit a card from the Web Client.

Show Door Group Access Levels

Whether you are adding a card record or editing a card record on the Card Holder Information page, you can select the Show Door Group Access Levels button to review doors, door groups and access levels.

You can only view access levels and time zones on the Door Group Access Levels page. You cannot change settings.

Show Elevator Group Access Levels

Whether you are adding a card record or editing a card record on the Card Holder Information page, you can select the Show Elevator Group Access Levels button to review elevators, elevator groups and floor access levels.

You can only view access levels and time zones on the Elevator Group Access Levels page. You cannot change settings.

Procedure

  1. From the main page, select Card Holder Database > Edit Cards.

  2. Under Search Criteria, enter pertinent information in the applicable field for the card holder record you wish to edit.

  3. Click on the Edit button to the right of the card holder listed below Search Results.

  4. From the Card Holder Information page, make the desired changes to the card holder record.

  5. Click on the Save & Exit button.

  6. From the Search Criteria page, click on the Exit button to return to the main page or to edit another record repeat steps 2 to 5.
